Contribution to Grafisch Nederland, the annual of the dutch print-industry. The 2008 issue was under the art-direction of Lava graphic design, who invited 8 artists to interpret a novel by Toon Tellegen, ‘Een Nieuwe Tijd’.
I worked together with composer Hans Müller, who wrote a music piece for the story. I then translated his music into typographic and illustrative compositions that followed the story as well as the music-score.
Once the printed pages were done, I also created animations with the same elements. When the book was launched, a brass band played the music, which I illustrated with live video mixing.
